This is the grave of John F. Taylor born on September 22, 1831 and died on December 8, 1908. He served in Company C of the 35th North Carolina Infantry of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. Laid to rest in the Pace Cemetery in Zirconia, North Carolina.
